My 30 years of business experience is rooted in the belief that business (large or small), is the lifeblood of our community. Whether managing a shop or owning a local restaurant, I’ve practiced the fiscal discipline and common sense required to run a successful operation. As your Commissioner, I will treat our local economy as a sacred investment, fostering an environment where our families and producers can do more than just survive—they can thrive.
As an ag producer, I stand firm in the belief that our land and water are private property, and I will fight to keep those rights in the hands of the people who own them.
As a pastor, I see the daily challenges and triumphs of our families. And as a father of 12—with seven still at home—I am more invested than ever in ensuring Rio Blanco County remains a place where our children can grow, work, and stay.

History shows us that poverty is the greatest enemy of the environment; when a community struggles to get by, the future of the land is often sidelined. By supporting our local industries, we are ensuring we have the means to be the best possible stewards of Rio Blanco County.
